Shane Bartlett – Partner
Throughout his 20 years in private practice, attorney Shane Bartlett has provided skilled representation to individuals and families inside and outside of the courtroom. He represents clients in complex cases involving catastrophic injuries and wrongful death due to motor vehicle accidents, defective products, premises liability and negligent security.
Shane joined CKF in 2014 after having spent the first half of his career representing businesses and insurance companies. His prior experience and insight are a true asset to the firm, especially when analyzing and developing trial strategies. That is evident by the incredible amount of success Shane has had in obtaining many substantial verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients.
While success in the courtroom is something every lawyer strives for, like the rest of CKF’s team, Shane’s focus is not solely on the legal aspect of each case, but also on the personal aspect.
“I have always enjoyed being a lawyer, but I did not truly love being a lawyer until I began representing individuals and families who have been wronged by others. Our clients are looking for an advocate and often entrust us with the things they cherish the most, their loved ones, whose future may hang in the balance. We owe them our best. Yes, a successful outcome is amazing and our goal in every case, but equally rewarding is the appreciation from our clients, especially as they come out the other side with a new-found hope moving forward.” – Shane Bartlett
Shane’s work has not gone unnoticed. He has regularly been named a “Super Lawyer” by Thomson Reuters, is rated “AV Preeminent” by Martindale-Hubbell and has consistently maintained a perfect 10/10 rating from AVVO. Additionally, for the past two years, Shane was named to the list of “Legal Elite” by business and politics magazine, Georgia Trend, an honor based solely on the endorsements of other attorneys in the state.
Shane earned his Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Georgia and is an active member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, and DeKalb County Bar Association. His verdicts and settlements are frequently covered in major legal news publications, including The Daily Report.
When not practicing law, Shane enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, hacking it up on the golf course and going to Athens to see the Georgia Bulldogs play.
